Lenny Lynn PDF Print E-mail

I've known Lenny since 1990 when I first sat-in with him and Erik Alexander at the Other Place at 75th and King Drive.  They played every Monday and Tuesday with Alan Batts on organ and George Fludas on drums.

Lenny Lynn is one of the great Chicago singers in the old South Side tradition. He is a connsumate entertainer that can command the attention of any audience, no matter how square.  His phrasing is so swingin, his scatting is crazy, and his spontanaety never ends.

Here are some tracks showcasing the art of Lenny Lynn:

 1. Goin' to Chicago
2.  Our Love Is Here To Stay
3.  Who Can I Turn To
4.  Moanin'
5.  The More I See You
